XLPE stands for Cross Linked Poly Ethylene. It is a chemically cross linked closed cell polyolefin foam insulation specially designed for the HVAC segment, under deck insulation and pipe insulation.
AEROLAM XLPE is a versatile material that can be used as under deck insulation, duct and pipe insulation and various other applications. In the underdeck application, XLPE can be installed in a new roof, an existing roof without removing the metal sheet and in curved roofing without any support.
